Ken brings over 30 years of innovative high tech product management expertise to Stratus, most of that focused on the digitalization of the graphic arts industry. His background includes some of the leading innovators in printing and publishing over the decades such as Harris, Compugraphic, Atex and Scitex and spans functions from sales and product management to strategic marketing and planning. He has worked with DuPont, Kodak, Polaroid, Xerox and many others to help them develop successful strategies for bringing unique new products to market and authored several broad market research studies on new markets and technology trends in the printing industry. His recent experience at Hewlett-Packard includes defining and launching HP’s first entry into the professional printing category; defining and launching HP’s professional projector product line while opening up an entirely new channel to take it to market; and driving the development of HP’s fastest and most profitable high-end color laser printer to name a few. Ken has served on the boards of several industry trade organizations, is a featured industry speaker and seminar leader and has written numerous articles on electronic workflow, color proofing, computer-to-plate and digital printing. He chaired several ANSI and ISO committees and written over a dozen standards for the exchange of digital data over the years. He holds a BS in Industrial Management from Clarkson University and an MBA from Pepperdine.
